Oat Meal

Oat is a cereal (plant seed) rich in soluble fiber. It is an ideal food with a lot of goodness from nature. Unrefined Oat is known to reduce stress, depression, anxiety and nervous disorders. When you are sad, eat raw oats, it will act as an anti depressant.
Cooked Oat meal will relieve fatigue and rejuvenate energy. If you have a constipation problem, try eating raw oats for some days.

Oat binds with bad cholesterol (LDL) and reduces blood cholesterol levels, helping to lower high Blood Pressure. Its slow digesting and slow release of calories steadies the blood sugar levels (Avoid spikes in Blood sugar), and is a boon for diabetics. Thus in a single stroke it controls BP & Sugar.

Oats is usually taken as porridge. It can be blended with milk, dry fruits, protein powders etc to enhance flavor & nutrition.
